Hallo dr. Fazra, such a pleasure to be able talking with you, could you tell us about yourself and your daily activity?

Lately, I am busy doing an internship as a research assistant at Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT) Department of Medicine Universitas Indonesia Cipto Mangunkusumo Hospital and being a doctor on duty at a clinic in Tangerang. I also busy in preparing my qualification for the internship.

Why are you interested to become a research assistant at RSCM, is there any reason?

Actually I want to get access to a specialist that have minor actions (ENT, eyes, skin) and there was opportunity for me to be part of ENT department. Actually I want to fill my spare time before the internship after passing the UKMPPD.

Can you tell us more about your internship experience?

Actually it is not as busy as I said before because I became a research assistant and do my work from home (WFH). To look after a new clinic starting in the last 1-2 months, many patients come with symptoms of cough and cold, shortness of breath and the diagnosis leads to Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19,) but because in the clinic where there is no COVID-19 examination tool, they often refer to other clinics. Every day, among the 50 patients I treat, 30 of them lead to COVID-19 symptoms.

What value do you get from join CIMSA?

One of the most impactful things is the relation and networking. I got the opportunity of internship and became research assistant from a friend which I knew from CIMSA, he offered ENT internship at ENT departement of Medicine Universitas Indonesia Cipto Mangunkusumo Hospital . Networking that I already have from CIMSA, it helps me a lot especially about information which I could not have if I did not get from my relatives.

Could you explain to us why did you decide to join CIMSA?

Center for Indonesian Medical Students’ Activities (CIMSA) is one of the organizations that I really enjoy, because my seniors are very kind and very embracing, I feel welcome at CIMSA and it suits on me.

Why did you decide to be a Regional Coordinator Region 3 2017-2018?

At that time I failed to become a Local Officer on Human Rights and Peace, but I did not want to give up. Because I had experience as a Human Resources Development team so I applied for an internal position, one of which was Regional Coordinator, coincidentally, the only candidate and I was elected Regional Coordinator Region 3. The main motivation is that I am passionate about participating in other local events and I really enjoy it.

What is an unforgettable moment during joining CIMSA?

I was once a Project Officer of October Meeting 2016 and from there I learned many things, ranging from communication and organizing skills, and overall the moment to be a Regional Coordinator Region 3 is something that can not be forgotten in CIMSA.
