Do you know? The number of elderly people who had been vaccinated against COVID-19 as of December 4th, 2021, was only around 54% for the first dose and 35.27% for the second dose. This is due to the limited access to vaccines and the information they have, including persons with disabilities, so they need special attention. In addition, inclusive education is still a topic of discussion today because students with disabilities have different needs from regular students, while it is their right also.

SCORP CIMSA-BEM KM FK Unand together with SCORP CIMSA FK UIN SH raised an activity, namely NOTICE (Vulnerable People Rights of The Education System And COVID-19's Vaccines) to celebrate Human Rights Day and International Day of Disabled Persons.

The NOTICE series of events consisted of pre-activity training on November 27, 2021 on “Health as Human Rights” and “Disability and Inclusivity for All Aspects of Education System” with the aim of providing members with knowledge about health and education as a human rights, especially for the elderly and disabled.

The 1st webinar held on December 4th, 2021 regarding “Access to the COVID-19 Vaccine for Vulnerable People (elderly and disabled)” with speakers from the Indonesian Ministry of Health, HWDI DKI Jakarta, and dr. RA Adninggar PN, Sp. PD. Then, 2nd webinar on December 12th, 2021 on “Inclusive Education System for Persons with Disabilities” with PPDI and KOMNAS HAM RI as speakers.

The next series is the Social Media Campaign by infographic publications and NOTICE Trivia on “Access to COVID-19 Vaccines for the Elderly and with Disabilities” and on “Inclusive Education for People with Disabilities” via Instagram and LINE Official Account CIMSA-BEM KM FK Unand and CIMSA FK UIN SH. NOTICE also held a Live Instagram with Cofight regarding “Access to the COVID-19 Vaccine for the Elderly and with Disabilities”.

We also held a Ground Campaign with the implementation of health protocols at GOR H. Agus Salim Padang to educate the public about "Access to COVID-19 Vaccine for Elderly and Disabled". Finally, we held a radio broadcast about “Access to COVID-19 Vaccine for the Elderly and Disabilities.

Hope that from this comprehensive series, members and public understand the access to COVID-19 vaccine for the disabled and the elderly as well as inclusive education in Indonesia. As the younger generation, we are responsible for helping vulnerable people get their rights.
