DURAMATER (Do Research and Make a Poster)

As a medical student, research is a something that must be done but a lot of people think research is boring. As we know, reading the result in written form might as well be boring and hard to understand, so to make people interest we use different way, example an infographic poster. Doing research and make an infographic is actually very beneficial for us to find an information without getting bored especially for people who don't like to read a lot. DURAMATER (Do Research and Make a Poster) by SCORE CIMSA FK UIN SH was held on Friday November 5, 202. It was a series of SCORE Goes Public Level 3 activities through Zoom Meeting with Rona Binham, a founder of ronapresentasi.com and a digital content creator as the speaker and was attended by pre-clinic students from the Faculty of Medicine UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta.

A few days before the webinar, SCORE CIMSA FK UIN SH held a mini research themed “Students Association Between Depression, Anxiety, and Stress with Sleep Quality in UIN SH's Medical Students During Pandemic". The data gotten was immediately processed with Google Docs, Microsoft Excel, and SPSS Software by members together through Zoom Meeting. After tabulating the data, SCORE carried out "Duramater: Do The Research and Make A Poster" as a follow up activity to make sure that medical students can publish their creation and deliver their idea to make an infographic and the final result of the research became the basic material for the webinar day.

The event started at 16.00 p.m which start with the opening, then Rona Binham as speaker explained the material about basic editing and designing, answer the question, and gave a brief demo how to compose excellent infographic posters using available application such as the latest version of Microsoft Power Point. After that, the participants were divided into break out rooms based on their groups for about 15 minutes and were told to compose at least one infographic poster which contains the result of SCORE CIMSA FK UIN SH mini research. The posters must be collected in a Google Drive maximum three days after the webinar. The participants were active and very enthusiast during the webinar, there were a lot of them who asked questions to the speaker about their confusion.

In Monday, we completely collected infographic posters of all group and the speaker, Rona Binham, had to decide 3 best posters to be the winner.Their ability to make infographic posters had shown through that competition. We all hope in the future they will be implemented and useful for the participants use this knowledge to improve their skills and find out if it is easier to open our research with infographic posters since the media is very common, more interesting, and easier to read by the society.
