As medical students, it is a must to learn how to do anamnesis. It's because anamnesis is the first step to diagnose our patients correctly. There would be many patients, with different backgrounds, that we have to handle in the future. One of them might be our deaf and mute friends out there. These background differences shouldn’t get in the way of doing anamnesis correctly. Therefore on Friday, December 17, 2021, SCOME CIMSA FK UIN SH held the second intervention for a sustainable project called BTS (Breaking the Silence) via Zoom Meeting to learn how to communicate with the use of sign language in our daily life. The tutor in this event is the preclinical students of FK UIN SH, who previously had been trained by PUSBISINDO.

Similar to our first intervention, the event opened with an opening session in the main room. After that the participants directed to the breakout room for the next session, the breakout room session. In this intervention, the breakout room session is still divided into multiple sessions. First, we notified the participants to do a pre-assessment test to measure the participant's basic knowledge about sign language. After that, the participants learned about the basic sign language from the tutor. In the second intervention, the participants learned about family history, and how to ask the patients to describe their complaint, such as where is the part that hurts, since when did the complaint occur, and many more. Next, there is roleplay where participants interact with other participants using sign language that has been taught in the previous session. After that, we gave the participants a post-assessment test to measure how far they understand about the lessons that have been taught for this 2nd intervention. Finally, after the breakout session was over, we directed the participants to the mainroom so we could close the event.

Similar to the first intervention, we still got positive feedback from the participants and we were having a very good time. Seeing the enthusiasm of the participants made the event deserve to be held next time. We truly wish this event gave the participants and the tutor truly benefits and useful knowledge.
