AKSARA [Ayo Diskusi Kesehatan Reproduksi] Bersama SCORA SCORA CIMSA FK UIN SH

Reproductive health knowledge is very important for adolescents as they grow and proceed to adulthood. In order to increase the knowledge of reproductive health for students, SCORA CIMSA FK UIN SH has held AKSARA (Ayo Diskusi Kesehatan Reproduksi Bersama SCORA). AKSARA is a one-day event that was held on Saturday, September 26th, 2020 via zoom, with students from Nuruzzaman Islamic Boarding School as participants.

One week before the event on September 20th, 2020, members of SCORA CIMSA FK UIN SH has held the first meeting via zoom with students from Nuruzzaman Islamic Boarding School to introducing the event, member and also give a pre-event assessment. The meeting was closed with a group photo. The participants looked excited for the event day of AKSARA.

On September 26th, The event was opened by the MC and continued with welcome speeches by Project Officer, LORA, LOCO and the last is from Nuruzaman Islamic Boarding School representative. There were 2 topics given to the student. The first topic is about Reproductive Organs in General and Puberty in Adolescents and was delivered by dr. Shinta Pangestu. Before the presentation, we gave them a pre-test about the topic. The participants were very enthusiastic and active during the question and answer session held after the presentation. Then, we gave them a post-test about the topic. Next, we held a game about guessing pictures of animals, and the one that can answer the question will be given a prize. After the game, the event was continued with the presentation of the second topic about Diseases of The Reproductive Organs and How to Maintain The Health of Reproductive Organs and was delivered by dr. Rahmatina, Sp. KK. Same as the first topic we gave them a pre-test about the topic. Then, we held a question and answer session followed with the post-test about the topic. We held the last game with prizes again. Before we closed the event we held a post-event assessment, prize distribution to the winner, and testimonial from the participants. AKSARA was closed with a group photo with the participants.

The participants were very thankful and told us to hold this event again next year. Lastly, we hope that AKSARA will give an impact on their daily life and increase reproductive health knowledge to the student from Nuruzzaman Islamic boarding school.
