Globally, an estimated 325 million people were living with chronic hepatitis at the end of 2015. Also in the same year, approximately 257 million people were living with hepatitis B (HBV) infection and 71 million people were living with hepatitis C (HCV) infection.
Indonesia is one of 28 countries with the heaviest burden of hepatitis which carry almost 50% of the global burden of chronic hepatitis. Together with WHO and other countries, we celebrate World Hepatitis Day as an effort to achieve the final goal of eliminating hepatitis. CIMSA Empowering Medical Students Improving Nation's Health
